How can a human being not be affected by what is going on with this family, during Holy Week no less?
The drama surrounding this event has the nation’s attention, how will we deal with it?
I have no idea the fine points of the law that are involved, but that this woman should be left to die based on one man, her husband, seems evil. Is he her property, is this an Islamic nation?
No, there is enough reason to believe that her family better represents her wishes than her husband.
Justice Kennedy should assert this basic truth. And, I’m sure he will, it is Easter Week after all.
